Dietro il nome di Illusorya (o LadyFanhir, per chi conosce dagli esordi), trovi Stefania Russo. Autodidatta, mi definisco un'artista indie nel campo della illustrazione tradizionale. Nata nel 1984, stabilita nelle campagne del Nord-Ovest Italia, mi sono diplomata come operatrice della moda passando gran parte della vita nel mondo del restauro di mobili antichi.

Come autodifesa, dai primi offuscamenti di un futuro e consolidato crollo mentale e fisico, ho abbandonato le precedenti eseprienze concentrandomi sull'Arte. Traendo ispirazione dalla propria ed altrui esistenze, traspongo frammenti di vita umana, fragilità e resilienza attraverso la forma più elegante e onirica del Dark Grotesque.

Il nome Illusorya, nasce dal concetto di creare opere seducenti apparentemente semplici a prima vista ma colmi di fini dettagli simbolici dando spazio a una visione ingannevole, come tale è la mente umana e le sue maschere.
“Motivazione” è unica maestra accademica, portandomi a ritrarre contro la canonica regola artistica del "bello" incoraggiando ad accogliere il volto dell'umanità; rappresento prevalentemente il genere femminile, oltre a ritratti di persone queer e androgine.

Le mie opere sono per la maggiore realizzate "alla prima" e su formati che non superano i 30x40cm prediligendo gli acquerelli, strumenti dal mood anarchico come tali visioni emotive.

Attualmente lavoro come artista indipendente, dipingendo progetti personali o su commissione. Le mie opere sono state esposte durante mostre collettive nelle gallerie oltre la nazione, e pubblicate in diverse pubblicazioni e progetti internazionali. Inoltre, partecipo costantemente in fiere e markets.
Nel 2016, insieme all'artista svedese Sandra Hultsved, ho fondato Memento Tea Gallery dedicata al genere Dark & Grotesque, dove un gran numero di pittori e scultori nazionali e internazionali hanno partecipato al progetto. Memento Tea Gallery è attualmente in pausa per motivi logistici.

Di recente ho aperto il mio atelier al pubblico, dando la possibilità di visitare e acquistare di persona le mie creazioni.

Libertà è sentire il cuore al sicuro, come fra le accoglienti mura di casa.
Libertà è spezzare le catene del pregiudizio e contemplare tutto ciò impresso per sempre su tela, in una danza di onirismo e sensualità, colori e forme.
